What clear aligners can help with

Invisalign is a way to straighten your teeth using a series of clear, custom-made aligner trays. You change to the next set on the schedule your doctor prescribes as your teeth gradually move. The trays are clear and removable, so you can take them out to eat, brush, and floss.

Clear aligners can help with crowded or crooked teeth, gaps, and many bite issues. They tend to be a favorite with adults who’d rather not wear traditional braces. Invisalign isn’t right for every case, and we’ll tell you honestly if it isn’t right for yours.

When braces or an orthodontist may be the better path

Some tooth movements and bite corrections are more predictable with braces or specialist orthodontic care. If your case would be better served that way, we will explain the reason and help you find the right next step.

How Invisalign works at Elite Dental

Your consultation

You’ll come in for a consultation. We’ll look at your teeth, listen to what you’d like to change, and tell you whether Invisalign is the right path.

Your digital scan and treatment plan

If Invisalign is a fit, we take a digital scan using our iTero Lumina scanner and design a step-by-step plan for how your teeth will move.

Wearing your aligners

You wear each set of trays about 20–22 hours a day, switching to the next set on the schedule your doctor prescribes. Treatment usually takes 6 to 18 months, and most people finish in about a year. We’ll give you a realistic timeline at your consultation.

Check-in visits

Check-ins allow us to make sure the aligners fit, the teeth are moving as planned, and your gums remain healthy. Attachments, elastics, refinements, or a revised sequence may sometimes be part of treatment.

Because the trays are removable, daily wear matters. We will give you a clear schedule and practical instructions for eating, cleaning your teeth, caring for the aligners, and handling a lost or damaged tray.

Retainers after treatment

Once your teeth finish moving, you’ll need retainers to help keep your results. Retainers are priced separately from your Invisalign fee, and we’ll talk through how to wear them before treatment ends.

A healthy foundation comes first

Clear aligners are planned around a healthy foundation. We evaluate the teeth, gums, existing restorations, bite, and any areas of decay before treatment begins. Dental work that changes the shape of a tooth may need to be completed before the final scan so the aligners fit correctly.

Frequently asked questions

Do you offer Invisalign in Little Rock?

Yes. We offer Invisalign clear aligners at 802 Kirk Road in West Little Rock, just off Chenal Parkway. It starts with a consultation, where we look at your teeth and bite and tell you honestly whether Invisalign is a good fit. Call (501) 448-2386 to schedule.

How much does Invisalign cost?

We’re in-network with several insurance plans, and each plan has its own fee schedule. What you pay depends on your plan and the treatment you need. We’ll go over the cost with you before you start. If we’re not in your network, we’re still happy to see you, and we’ll file the claim if your plan has out-of-network benefits. We bill your dental insurance and use your orthodontic coverage when it applies. If you’d like to finance, Cherry is our main option, and we accept CareCredit too.

Does Invisalign hurt?

It can feel snug at first. Most people feel some pressure or mild soreness for a day or two after switching to a new set of aligners. That’s your teeth moving, and it usually settles quickly.

Is Invisalign a good option for adults?

Yes. At our office, Invisalign is typically for adults. Many adults choose clear aligners because they come out and are hard to notice. Whether they’re right for you depends on your teeth, gums and bite. Our guide, Is Invisalign Right for Adults?, covers what to expect.

Should I get Invisalign from my dentist or from an orthodontist?

For many people, their own dentist is a good place to start. Some tooth movements and bite corrections are more predictable with braces or care from an orthodontist. If that’s the case for you, we’ll explain why and help you find the right next step.

Is Invisalign or braces better?

Neither is better for everyone. Invisalign works well for many cases of crowding, gaps and bite issues, and you can take the aligners out to eat and brush. Braces can be more predictable for some tooth movements. At your consultation, we’ll tell you which approach fits your teeth.
