A welcoming start to dental care

Early visits help children become familiar with the dental office before a problem hurts. We introduce the room and tools in simple language, answer questions, and adjust the pace to the child in front of us rather than expecting every child to respond the same way.

Parents are important partners. We listen to what you have noticed at home, explain what we find, and give practical guidance for brushing, flossing, diet, and habits as your child grows.

Preventive care for growing smiles

  • Exams and cleaningsRegular visits help us monitor developing teeth, remove buildup, and identify concerns early.
  • Fluoride varnishWhen appropriate, fluoride applied to the teeth can help strengthen enamel and reduce cavity risk.
  • Dental sealantsA thin protective coating can help keep food and cavity-causing bacteria out of deep grooves on back teeth.
  • Home-care coachingWe help children and parents build routines that fit the child’s age and abilities.
  • Appropriate X-raysWe recommend diagnostic images based on the child’s age, development, history, and individual needs rather than automatically at every visit.

What a visit looks like

  1. We get acquainted — We talk with you and your child, learn about concerns, and explain what we plan to do.
  2. We check the growing smile — We evaluate teeth, gums, bite, development, and hygiene, then complete preventive care that is appropriate for the visit.
  3. We make a clear plan — Parents leave knowing what we found, what to watch, and when the next visit should be.

When specialty care is the better fit

Elite Dental is a general family dental practice, not a pediatric specialty office. Many children can receive care comfortably here. If a child needs a pediatric specialist’s training, hospital-based care, sedation, or another level of behavioral or clinical support, we will explain that clearly and help coordinate an appropriate referral.

Frequently asked questions

What ages do you see?

We welcome children of all ages as part of our family practice. The right pace and type of visit depend on the child’s age, development, comfort, and dental needs.

Do you provide fluoride and sealants?

Yes. We provide fluoride varnish and dental sealants when they are appropriate for the child’s teeth and cavity risk.

What if my child is nervous?

Tell us before the visit. We use simple explanations, introduce things gradually, and avoid rushing. If a pediatric specialist would provide a better setting for your child’s needs, we will help with that referral.

Will my child need X-rays?

Not at every visit. We recommend X-rays when they provide useful diagnostic information based on development, history, symptoms, and cavity risk.

Can parents be involved?

Yes. Parents are important partners in understanding the child’s health, reinforcing home care, and helping us learn what makes the child comfortable.
