Jaw pain, clicking, headaches? Let’s get to the bottom of it.

What TMJ care looks like

TMJ issues show up differently for different people. Some grind or clench at night and wake up sore. Some feel a click when they open wide. Some have headaches or jaw fatigue they never connected to their teeth at all.

We’ll talk through what you’ve been experiencing, examine the joint and your bite, and recommend a starting point. That’s often a custom night guard — a comfortable mouthpiece that protects your teeth and eases pressure on the joint — along with simple changes that can make a real difference.

Frequently asked questions

Could my headaches be coming from my jaw?

It’s possible. Tension in the jaw muscles and clenching or grinding at night can contribute to headaches, especially around the temples. A look at your bite and your jaw can help us figure out whether it’s part of the picture.

What’s a night guard, and will it help?

It’s a custom-fit mouthpiece you wear while you sleep. It protects your teeth from grinding and takes some of the strain off your jaw joint. For many people with TMJ symptoms, it brings noticeable relief.

Will this go away on its own?

Sometimes mild TMJ symptoms come and go. But ongoing pain, locking, or limited movement is worth getting checked. The sooner we look, the more options you usually have.

Do I need a specialist?

For most TMJ care, we can help you here. If your situation needs a specialist’s eye, we’ll tell you straight and help you get to the right person.
